Stone Monkey

From the [Water Curtain Cave](/water-curtain-cave)'s Peak of Innocence, you will enter the Birthstone. After a cutscene you will face Stone Monkey. Upon its defeat, the Stone Monkey won't drop anything and it will transforms into [The Great Sage's Broken Shell](/the-great-sage27s-broken-shell).

The Stone Monkey will use attack's similar to the Azure Dome transformative ability that the player has, such as using powerful punches, strikes and kicks, shoulder charges and slam attacks. The Stone monkey can unleash powerful shockwaves that can damage players form a distance, he can also unleash rapid arm smash attacks at close range. In his second phase the stone monkey will create a clone of himself that can attack the player in tandem with him. Both monkeys can ultilize the elemental powers of fire and ice respectively, both monkeys can unleash powerful elemental shockwaves independently, once the stone monkey clone receives enough damage it will disappear and the player will fight the Stone monkey alone once more until his eventual defeat.

The Stone monkey is the original form of Sun Wukong when he was born from a stone.
