Those dissolute sons, living without restraint, died in an instant with their joy. The scholars who suppressed dissent, once they fell from power, were reviled by all. The generals who loved slaughter, they could never rest easy, undone by their own sins." The yellow-brow monk retorted, "Nonsense!" The young monk was slightly taken aback. "Nonsense?" "Their struggle, their joy, their determination, and their pleasure. Their endless cycle of sorrow and ecstasy never ceased, and never sated!" said the yellow-brow monk, "And this is the very source of the boundless vitality across the Three Realms. How then should it not be the true meaning of all life?" "And those who set themselves up as false idols. Given time, their pretensions are always unmasked. The Yellowbrow fight has three distinct phases, separated by cutscenes, each one lasting for a third of its healthbar before switching, with the transition also removing any clones that may be on the battlefield. Each phase comes with its own moveset, but the latter phases have far vaster-reaching attacks that are much harder to dodge, culminating in an explosion attack during the final phase that the player needs to run to the furthest corner to avoid. In the middle of each phase, Yellowbrow will unleash a wave of gold that armors him, which renders him invulnerable to regular strikes and needs to be cracked with charged heavy attacks. In addition, this wave of gold dispels the Destined One's transformation (if active), renders Immobilize ineffective, and turns all clones hostile, which can kill the player in a matter of seconds and make breaking the golden armor almost impossible. However, should the armor be broken while there are still clones around, the clones will once again attack Yellowbrow. Due to the stages and the golden armor, unlike most previous Yaoguai Chiefs and Kings, Yellowbrow cannot be beaten by frontloading Spells and Spirit Abilities, then battering down what remains of his healthbar using the staff. Therefore, such abilities should be saved for the later, harder, stages, and only activated after a given stage's armor transformation has occurred, since the armor can cut short the player's transformation and make A Pluck of Many backfire rather badly. Should the player decide to retreat and return at a later date, the only way to do so is to teleport to the shrine outside using the Incense Trail Talisman the player has received at the start of the game (this item has infinite uses).
