Nodes
Upon obtaining the relic, players can activate one of its three nodes, obtaining a unique benefit. When the relic is recollected in a [New Game+](/new-game2b) a second node can be activated, and a third in New Game++.
Location
Free Mind requires completion of [Erlang, the Sacred Divinity](/erlang-the-sacred-divinity)'s questline. Once Erlang is defeated, you can complete the game by defeating [The Great Sage's Broken Shell](/the-great-sage27s-broken-shell). Free Mind will then be automatically obtained upon starting a [New Game+](/new-game2b).
