Its used to unlock the doors (shortcuts) along with [Sterness of Stone](/stone/sterness-of-stone) in [Sandgate Village](/sandgate-village)'s Valley of Despair Shrine (door is behind where [Second Prince of Flowing Sands](/second-prince-of-flowing-sands) and [King of Flowing Sands](/king-of-flowing-sands) took place), [Crouching Tiger Temple](/crouching-tiger-temple)'s Temple Entrance (the altar behind [Tiger Vanguard](/tiger-vanguard)), and [Yellow Wind Formation](/yellow-wind-formation)'s Windrest Hamlet (door is in front of the shrine).
