当玩家在战斗中对他们造成足够伤害后,每位天王将在四段独立的战斗过场动画中被玩家击败。击败天王后,玩家将迎来与二郎神展开的史诗级最终决战。
Background
The Four Heavenly Kings are four Buddhist gods or devas, each of whom is believed to watch over one cardinal direction of the world. The Hall of Four Heavenly Kings is a standard component of Chinese Buddhist temples.
The Four Heavenly Kings are 4 individual gods as follows:
Vaiśravaṇa or Duōwén Tiānwáng (多聞天王): He is the King of the North, he is a god of warfare and the ruler of rain. His symbolic weapon is the umbrella which he carries in his right hand, he is often associated with the ancient Hindu god of wealth, Kubera. Associated with the color Green.
Virūḍhaka or Zēngzhǎng Tiānwáng (增長天王): He is the King of the South, he is also the ruler of the wind. His symbolic weapon is the sword which he carries in his right hand which he uses to protect the Dharma and the southern continent. Associated with the color Blue.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra or Chíguó Tiānwáng (持國天王): He is the King of the East, and god of music. His symbolic weapon is the pipa (stringed instrument). He is harmonious and compassionate and protects all beings, he uses his music to convert others into Buddhism. Associated with the color White.
Virūpākṣa or Guǎngmù Tiānwáng (廣目天王): He is the King of the West, depicted as having red skin and clad in armor, he is the guardian of the sky. He is often depicted gripping a Chinese dragon or Naga in his hands, which he uses to snare people into Buddhism. Associated with the color Red.
