Be he Sage or Buddha, the dawn has yet to be brought, just like the mantra. Through memory and obsession, a new journey to the west can be embarked upon.

Nodes
Upon obtaining the relic, players can activate one of its three nodes, obtaining a unique benefit. When the relic is recollected in a New Game+ a second node can be activated, and a third in New Game++.
Location
Free Mind requires completion of Erlang, the Sacred Divinity's questline. Once Erlang is defeated, you can complete the game by defeating The Great Sage's Broken Shell. Free Mind will then be automatically obtained upon starting a New Game+.
