Violet Hail is given to [Daoist Mi](/daoist-mi), which turns him hostile.
You will need to complete this quest before defeating [The Duskveil](/the-duskveil).
Found
From the [Purple Cloud Mountain](/purple-cloud-mountain)'s Petalfall Hamlet, continue forward. After crossing a bridge, you will go two sets of stairs on the left. Daoist Mi can be found on the left, playing a flute. Speak with him and he will want you to find him Violet Hail. Now defeat nearby enemies until one of them drops it. Its a random drop.
