Steel Ginseng can be randomly obtained while gathering any Aged Ginseng. A good farming spot is Valley of Ecstasy's Towers of Karma. From the Shrine, turn left and follow the path behind the Dual-Blade Monk facing a wall. Along the path you will find one Aged Ginseng on your right, next to a bush, and one a little further on your left. Continuing on, there are 5 more Aged Ginseng, two of which are Ginsengling.
