Usage
Sobering Stone can be given to an boar guai in [Fright Cliff](/fright-cliff)'s Rockrest Flat. From the Shrine continue straight ahead and past the [Spearbone](/spearbone) enemy. In the big area after that, a drunken boar will be sitting in the middle. Talk with him and he will want Sobering Stone to sober up. After obtaining it, give it to him. This is the start of a quest that will unlock the secret area [Kingdom of Sahali](/kingdom-of-sahali).

From the [Yellow Wind Formation](/yellow-wind-formation)'s Windrest Bridge Shrine, go across the bridge and turn left. Continue a bit and you can take a right. Then look at left, there should be a shooting enemy and a house you can enter. There is also a small fire next to the door. Break the jars inside the house to obtain it.
Alternatively, if one has completed [Man-in-Stone](/stone/man-in-stone)'s questline, they can purchase a Sobering Stone from Man-in-Stone instead. If the stone was purchased, the abovementioned jar will provide [Ascension Powder](/ascension-powder) ×1 instead.
